Can 8686 Support AP mode?

Hi,

I noticed that someone asked if there is support to use the Marvell 8385 
chipset as an access point using the hostap driver or some other 
driver.(http://lists.infradead.org/pipermail/libertas-dev/2008-May/001701.html)

I have the same question but for the Marvell 8686. Has anybody has 
experience to share with me? I'm quite new on this area and so thanks 
for all your help.
