I possibly saw something similar with the https://kau.toke.dk/lede/airtime-fairness-builds/ar71xx/generic/ builds on an Archer C7v2 - 2.4 clients all disconnecting and having to bounce the wifi to bring things up.

It's happened when I'm at work so generally my wife has just yanked the power so I haven't had a chance to debug.  The one time it happened when I was at home I saw nothing crazy in dmesg etc.  I haven't seen this on 5Ghz.
