I added these two lines into rc.local:
date >> /root/mem.txt
cat /proc/meminfo >> /root/mem.txt

Not sure if you can conclude anything from this. Also, don't look at the timestamps in the outputs, they are off for some reason, it's not like I rebooted the router 3 times in 10 seconds :-)
