The boot time log item is coming from Luci statistics. And that be triggered from console, too:

root at lede:~# /etc/init.d/luci_statistics restart
iptables v1.4.21: can't initialize iptables table `raw': Table does not exist (do you need to insmod?)
Perhaps iptables or your kernel needs to be upgraded.


Sounds strange, but I will look into that more closely.
