Better explanation:
LEDE stops writing to flash after a cold reboot.
Steps to reproduce:
(this works)
1. Flash LEDE using uboot HTTP.
2. write to /
3. Reboot. Writing works.

4. Unplug all cables and power. Wait. Plug it all again.
5. Writing fails (LEDE_from_working_warm_to_cold_boot.log)
6. 'mtd -r erase rootfs_data' fails. (LEDE_failsafe_mtd_erase_rootfs_data_does_nothing.log)
7. 'sysupgrade' fails. (LEDE_failsafe_sysupgrade_to_OWRT_does_nothing.log)
