I reverted this patch too after seeing connections stalling on some devices for no apparent reason. This is on a Netgear WNDR4300 with LEDE 1455. The devices that stall are all in the 2.4GHz band (data rate 72.2 Mb/s). Usually, switching off/on WiFi on the devices fixes the problems for a while until the connections stall again a few minutes later.

I have no problems downloading at up to 10 MB/s in the 5GHz band with or without this patch (data rate 300 Mb/s).
