wpa_supplicant update to v2.10 - unable to connect to wifi - denied association, code 40

Hello again list,

the issue I described appears to duplicate to that described by 
Hans-Peter Jansen <hpj at urpla.net> in his message on 2022-02-07 with 
subject "Bug#1003907: fails to successfully associate".

I'll regard this as taken care of and unsubscribe from the list.
