Client disconnection at PTK renewal

Dear all,

I am running hostapd 2.0 on a kernel 3.11.2 with the ath9k driver and
I am experiencing occasional disconnections at the moment of the PTK
renewal.
I have seen this issue with different kind of WiFi clients so I am
suspecting that there is something wrong at my access point setup.

Hostapd disconnects the clients because it reaches the retry limit for
the EAPOL frame transmission. Apparently, the different clients I
tested were working correctly but they never received the EAPOL frames
coming from hostapd.

I have added the related part of the hostap log below.

Would anyone have already seen a similar issue with ath9k driver?
