Can wpa_supplicant will work with windows XP

Dear All,
I am trying to compile wpa-supplicant ver1.0 on visual studio 2005.
it is supported in windows xp operating systems.

I am trying to compile i am getting some errors.

Can anybody help me..whether wpa-supplicant V1.0 will work on windows xp
