wired reconnect

This should be covered somewhere, but I haven't been able to find the answer.

My device has a wired connection, but every time the link is unplugged the supplicant just sits there and doesn't attempt to reconnect. Short of detecting when the link recovers externally and triggering disconnect/reconnect, is there a config option to tell the supplicant to automatically retry?

I've observed it with 0.7.3 and 0.6.8 with both PEAP and TLS configurations. Thanks,
