Can't use virtual interface for P2P connection
Thu Jan 6 16:57:34 PST 2011
Have you ever tried to enable "-p driver_param=use_p2p_group_interface=1"? I
tested P2P with virtual interface enabled on a ath9k setup, the
wpa_supplicant printed out the following error messages and failed to
connect to the other peer.
On both peers, I use "p2p_find" and "p2p_connect MAC pbc"
CTRL_IFACE monitor send - hexdump(len=22): 2f 74 6d 70 2f 77 70 61 5f 63 74

Looks up it failed to up the virtual interface. I'm using a ath9k setup. P2P
works good if virtual interface is not enabled.
