p2p test Error: "CTRL-EVENT-EAP-FAILURE"

That does not look like EAP method selection issue, but something going
wrong during WPS. Please collect more debug information from both
devices by adding -ddt to the wpa_supplicant command line and looking at
the debug log rather than the limited messages showing up in wpa_cli.
