This looks like the crash would be happening inside OpenSSL. I tested
your configuration file and certificates and was able to complete
authentication without any problems.
Which version of OpenSSL are you using and where did you get it from
(i.e., whether it came with your distribution or whether you compiled it
yourself, etc.)? Which authentication server are you using?
