prism2 chip connected via usb

Hello,

I have a prism2 chipset on my laptop which is internally connected via
USB. At the moment I'm using linux-wlan-ng to get it running, but since
WPA will never be supported with that driver, I was wondering if USB
adapters will be supported in future versions of hostap.

I grepped the webpage, bugzilla and the mailing list, but didn't find
this question asked before recently. Last info I found was:

Are there any plans? Are there any definitive nos?
