It looks like wpa_supplicant does not receive any of the EAPOL frames
from vlan1. Could you run a sniffer (tcpdump/tethereal/etc.) on the
router and verify whether you actually see any of the EAPOL frames that
way (ethertype==0x888e)? Which Ethernet driver (and/or Ethernet adapter
hw) is used in that device?
