Can't get hostap & wpasupplicant working on Thinkpad A31p with Prism 2.5 Wifi

Please see attached a working kernel-config from my recent 2.6.22.1
kernel. this works well with my prism 2.5 dlink dwl 650 pcmcia card
with hostap. i just had to disable the orinoco modules via blacklist
in /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist
