compiling wpa_supplicant on Mac OSX

Hi,

  I was wondering if anyone has gotten wpa_supplicant to work on Mac OS 
X, particularly 10.3.

I need the supplicant on OS X to start authentication on boot and not 
at the login windows.  10.3 can't do this.
I'm still testing to see if 10.4 can or not.   If I can get 
wpa_supplicant to work on 10.3 then hopefully I can get it
to start on boot.

Has anyone been able to build it on OS X 10.3?

Hints would help out alot.
