wlan guide

hi there

i am a trainee and have 2 tasks to do
1>getting more knowledge about the wlan technology and trying to find out 
about the security of the firm and getting some passwd.

2>moving around with my laptop and checking the connection of the aps in 
different locations of the building by sending big packets and write/draw 
down the results on a buidling plan.

imworking with knoppix asc.

the first task was  easy
i used
kismet
airodump
aireply and
aircrack

with the second task i have some "problem" i just dont know what programms i 
should use best to do this. can someone tell which progs to use and perhaps 
a small tutorial?
