It seems that I have all the information, but I can not make it fit.
Seems that this:
Apr 16 15:23:38 dino user.info kernel: wifi0: NIC: id=0x8000 v0.0.1
Apr 16 15:23:38 dino user.info kernel: wifi0: PRI: id=0x15 v1.1.2
Must give me the clue of what files i must use.
0x8000
let?s go to:
http://linux.junsun.net/intersil-prism/IDtable.html
8000 EVB/PI,PCMCIA,3841,Atmel,x8,0 (G),0 (G),0 (G),0 (G)
First, This card has no NVRAM... :-S That table says that it has an Atmel.
After that I am not sure what means the "0".
I have no p0*.hex or pG*.hex files...
Should I trust the 0x8000 ?
Let?s see again.
root at dino:/etc/pcmcia# hostap_diag wifi0
Host AP driver diagnostics information for 'wifi0'
NICID: id=0x8000 v0.0.1 (EVB2 (HFA3841EVAL1) with PRISM I (3860B) Radio)
PRIID: id=0x0015 v1.1.2
ioctl[PRISM2_IOCTL_HOSTAPD]: No data available
Wow!!! I got a data!
It?s a HFA3841EVAL1
(http://www.digchip.com/datasheets/parts/datasheet/235/HFA3841EVAL1.php)
with 386B radio.
And this confirms that this is a 0x8000.
Any advice?
Thanks in advance.
