writemif & power control

Hi,

I'm a veritable newbie on hostap and I'd like to master it. I found in the
Readme almost everything I wanted to know. But I still have questions. In
particular, I write to the list to get information about writemif (and
readmif) command.

What is a mif?
What can be done writing a mif?
Is there any special documentation to understand mifs?

I'm also specially interested in controlling tx power of APs (to set
dynamically the size of cells). What is the better choice for setting this?
And to get the (real) Tx power of an AP?
