No DHCPOFFERS received dwl-520e

Well I just undid what I had already done and started all over again w/
a new 2.6.4 kernel.  Everything went just fine this time and now
everything is working.  Thanks alot to the list and the howto.  

DHCPREQUEST on wlan0 to 255.255.255.255 port 67
DHCPACK from 192.168.1.1
bound to 192.168.1.103 -- renewal in 37969 seconds.

I can send a copy of my Debian-specific version of rc.wlan if anyone
cares to have it although it is easy enough to do yourself.  Oh and
BTW.  I could only do make and make install in /usr/src/hostap as make
pci and make install_pci both errored.  Did I miss something?
