Thanks to Andrew I'm this close to having the dwl-520 working inder
Debian SID 2.6.4. I thought I'd pass this along. To get rc.wlan to run
on boot under Debian first do a simple edit to the rc.wlan script for
Debian:
search & replace /usr/sbin/iwconfig w/ /sbin/iwconfig
chmod +x rc.wlan
cp rc.wlan /etc/init.d
update-rc.d rc.wlan defaults
I still don't have the card working but I'm close. Probably a
misconfiguration on either the router (Linksys wrt4g) r my wlan card but
I'll get it eventually.
# /etc/init.d/rc.wlan restart
wlan0
wlan0
