iwconfig: Invalid misc

Some additional info...
After adjusting iwpriv wlan0 dump, I now am seeing many instances
of "data_len=1508" in dmesg/syslog. Since MTU=1500, is this a
problem?
Also, this is a Linksys WMP11.
