I personally don't buy D-Link products anymore (for a reason, believe me),
however some stuff from them were okay (I still use some D-Link DWL-650
PCMCIA wireless network cards)


But I can recommend the Netgear MA-311 PCI 802.11b network card:

Comes only in one flavour (Prism chipset), so you don't have to worry
about getting a 'wrong' revision. And it is a 'true' PCI card
(no PLX or PCMCIA-PCI).

Rather cheap, quite popular, and you should have no problem to find a
shop that sells them. The MA-311 is also often offered on eBay.


Works perfectly with hostap and hostapd (tested on ix86, Alpha and PA-RISC).
