Morning everyone!
I finally got RSN working between my gateway and my notebook.
Setup:
a) the gateway
D-Link DWL-520, PRI 1.1.4, STA 1.8.3 (both volatile)
Linux 2.6.5-rc3
hostap cvs
hostapd cvs
wpa=2 in hostapd.conf
b) the notebook
IBM Atheros a/b/g mini-PCI card (PCI-ID 168c:1014)
Linux 2.6
madwifi-WPA cvs
wpa_supplicant cvs
proto=RSN
How to get it work:
start wpa_supplicant
_after_ it giving the message "wpa_driver_madwifi_set_wpa: enabled=1",
do "iwpriv ath0 wpa 2" to tell madwifi to do WPA2 instead of WPA1.
then just wait a little, and it should work. It does here.
Regards, Wilfried
