Hi Pavel,

Cardmgr is running, cardctl ident reports the card properly.

> Run lsmod to see what modules are loaded.

Shows hostap as unused.

> Check /var/log/messages for possible error messages from cardmgr. Run dmesg for kernel messages.

SuSE 9.0 doesn't appear to have a /var/log/messages? dmesg output only shows one line mentioning hostap - hostap_crypt.

> Try "modprobe hostap_cs" to check for possible unresolved symbols or missing dependencies.

Here's the output:

Before I began the hostap installation process, SuSE had installed the prism2_cs drivers by default. I know iwconfig was installed and wireless functionality was there, but I still might be missing dependencies? I didn't get any fatal errors (that I noticed) when compiling hostap.

Thanks for the help,

Mark
