keep crashing on 386

Ok.
I believe the hostap support 386. I have the hostap/kernel all tested and
worked great on a 486 test box. Then I moved it to my production server.
However, it keep crashing. I am using SMC 2632W with ISA/PCMCIA swap box.
Maybe the 386 is too slow of this :-(
If I insert the card after the box bootup I got the following error.
