Problem with compaq wl100 card

hello to everybody,

    I have downloaded hostap driver and it works fine.
but when i try to activate my compaq wl100 network card using network window 
of linux,it gives me error
    "airo_cs module not found delaying initialization"
    does this because of hostap driver?

    how can i access internet using the hostap driver installed on my pc?
does it require me to manully load airo_cs module?
