Hi Folks,
I am not sure that PCF is dead since there is an interest to provide QoS
Features and to run over the wireless link at the AP. I would assume that
with the current DCF access method for 802.11 networks we can only provide
the best effort service for users associated with an AP. With this service
model I am note sure that we can garantee a certain QoS for multimedia
applications or even VoIP.

I believe the (discontinued?) Cirrus Whitecap2 stuff (ShareWave) was the
most shipped PCF gear. http://www.zayetech.com/ for currently available.
AOpen's (discontinued?) AOI-706 and cards were the same thing too looks
like.
PCF is dead, no?
