[802.1X]how can I make my hostapd daemon work

Is it a 520 or a 520+?  There is a difference in the internal chipsets.

   I wanna "replace Cisco access point with Host AP driver, hostapd daemon, 
and a Prism2 card".I followed the README.prism2 steps.

    My Prism2 card is D-link DWL520,and I downloaded the 
Hostap-2002-10-12,the driver run well,but when I input "./hostapd wlan0" or 
"./hostapd -xm wlan0",
it told me:

ioctl(SIOCGIFINDEX):No such device
ioctl[SIOCGIFFLAGS]:No such device
    
    Anyone has ever met such problem? What is the right way to make it?
