dwl-650 firmware upgrade possible?

hi all,

Can anyone tell me whether my d-link card is capable of being flash 
upgraded to firmware 1.4.9/1.5.6 ?

I downloaded some intersil firmware but couldn't confirm compatibility with 
NICID 8008.  If anyone has had success I'd be grateful for any info they 
will share.

Could someone also explain what 'SSF Flash' means?
