Run lsmod and see if hostap_cs was loaded by cardmgr.  See
/var/log/messages for messages from cardmgr.

You are using a wrong search criteria.  DWL-520 revision E also uses
Prism 3, and it's being discussed right now.  The last message is actually
from you :-)
