DHCP problem

Hi everybody,


I havea  problem running DHCP server of my machine. I am working on redhat 
8. I installed HOSTAP and it looks fine means I can see wlan0.I can change
essid..channel and so forth. I am using Custom kernel.

I try to run DHCP using /sbin/service dhcp start i got this error

make sure  CONFIG_PACKET (Packet socket) and Config_filter (socket 
filtering)are enabled in your kernel.

I checked my config file in /usr/src/linux... and it says
CONFIG_PACKE= y but Config_filter is not set.

Any help is appreciated ..
