iPlayer Tags 'shortened' v.v 'original'

They are almost certainly trimmed versions of programs which previously 
had continuity announcements or other guff at the beginning/end.  For 
those suggesting the actual content is being edited, the BBC have a 
different tag for that - editorial.

On the other hand, I have multiple versions of some programs, with both 
the original and shortened tags, and the shortened versions have a 
larger file size... make of that what you will.
