Demise of get_iplayer PPA

I was able to install get_iplayer manually following the very helpful instructions on the wiki. In my case, on linux mint, all that was involved was installing a couple of perl modules. But the instructions don't deal with the man page and I haven't been able to get it working. Can anyone help with that?
