I prefer
https://github.com/get-iplayer/get_iplayer/wiki/modesref
as it gives the actual resolutions and bit rates, although the scroll bars 
are annoying.

320MByte for a 30 min programme is about 1.4Mbit/s.  HLSvhigh, 832x468 at 
25fps is about 1.5Mbit/s.  HVFxsd, 960x540 at 25fps is about 1.65Mbit/s.

For radio you don't really need 320kbit/s for the News Quiz.  128kbit/s is 
adequate, so you could use DAFstd or HAFstd, or DAFmed or HAFmed for 
96kbit/s.
