Possible To Get BBC R3 In FLAC using GiP?

Sorry I should have read further.  The answer is
Tools Preferences Input & Codecs
Record directory or filename
Save

It creates a FLAC file with the .ogg suffix.

The first time I tried to play it I got silence.  I restarted VLC and it 
then played alright.  When I tried to start playing the stream again it told 
me it couldn't play it.  I tried again and it worked.
