I gather all your "other units" are Linux-y too?

Finding the right rtmpdump command is not an easy task:

1. If you are registered with ITV player, verify you can
stream the film in question in Mozilla Firefox
(or possibly other Linux browser, too)

https://www.itv.com/itvplayer/emma

2. Apart from rtmpdump itself, you would need to have
also correctly installed rtmpsrv ("the server")

3. Then you should be able to use the iptables redirection
method to capture the command
(many articles on-line for that, e.g.
https://koroshiyaitchy.wordpress.com/2012/02/05/how-to-download-streaming-media-with-rtmpdump/ )

NB: You should be really swift in issuing the command,
because the authentication token is very short-lived!

4. rtmpdump will fetch an FLV file - depending on
your hardware player, you may need to losslessly remux
to the MP4 container...

Hope I've helped...

Cheers,
Vangelis.
