Stopped working on my brother's PC

My brother's just moved house and everything seems to be acting up for
him, including get_iplayer ;) It's working fine for me here. He's on
XP 32bit and I'm on Win7 64bit.
I tested with the Web PVR and when trying to record it says "can't
find iphone URL" and then "flvstreamer not found" (something like that
anyway) several times as it tries the other modes. I copied my modes
line to his to remove the iphone option:
flashaachigh,flashaacstd,flashaudio,flashhigh,flashstd,flashnormal,realaudio,flashaaclow
I tried updating the get_player.cmd, pl, etc but that didn't help
I tried deleting his "C:\Program Files\Get_iplayer" folder completely
as well as his "C:\Documents and Settings\user\.get_iplayer" folder.
His options file only had "raw=1" in it which seemed weird, although
thinking about it I remember we added that as he has a very old and
slow computer that can't cope with transcoding the downloads!
I reinstalled with the get_iplayer_setup_latest.exe which didn't
create an options file and it still gave the same error about
flvstreamer. I tried copying my options settings to his, which are:
output E:\Media\iPlayer
mmsnothread 1
nopurge 1
mplayer .\MPlayer\MPlayer-1.0rc2\mplayer.exe
lame .\LAME\lame.exe
ffmpeg .\FFmpeg\ffmpeg-0.8-win32-static\bin\ffmpeg.exe
vlc .\VLC\vlc-1.1.11\vlc.exe
flvstreamer .\RTMPDump\rtmpdump.exe
atomicparsley .\AtomicParsley\AtomicParsley\AtomicParsley.exe
I changed the output path to point to his download folder.
I then tried the commandline and refreshed the cache but doing
get_iplayer --pid= didn't work. I'm just trying on my system and it
gives the same error there as well, so I'm probably doing something
wrong as I don't use the commandline very often.

Ah, I see that's the index number I was using, not the PID so I should
have done "get_iplayer 1124 --get". That works on my PC, I'll have to
check on my brother's,
Anyway, as you can see I haven't really got a clue what's wrong and
would appreciate any help.
