Hi Chris

I did not see if you got an answer - here's an example of using the
--url syntax there are two different caches for media (radio/tv) so it
helps if you spedify the cache to look in

C:\Program Files (x86)\get_iplayer>get_iplayer --url
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-23283982
INFO: Trying pid: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-23283982 using type: tv
INFO Trying to stream pid using type tv
INFO: pid not found in tv cache

I used a tool called rtmpexlorer
http://www.videohelp.com/tools/RTMPExplorer to download the video from
the news site, I'm not sure how GIP can do it.
