if you use the *2 modes as per the example I gave then it should use a
different cdn for the stream.

from what i understand, two streams usually exist for each mode, each
are a different cdn, likely given priority based on location. when you
enter flashhigh, it tries them in order of priority: flashhigh1 and
then flashhigh2.
for me *1 is usually limelight and *2 is akamai.
