Simplez, get a Playstation 3. Just remember to use FFMPEG 0.5.1 on
get_iplayer. http://lists.infradead.org/pipermail/get_iplayer/2011-January/000660.html
It shame that at moment there isn't HD playback on PS3 from the XMB
versions for iPlayer, ITV Player, 4OD. And soon Five is comming to the
PS3 party as well.
Also in my mind the PS3 has best upscaler, so DVD's are better to
watch on PS3 on HDTV then else where.
(Note you have turn upscaler on first, it not on by default and only
works with HDMI)
The PS3 is only console that has been certified for DivX playback. So
no problems with DivX or Xvid files can play right of from a DVD or
USB and also via DLNA server. The DLNA software I use is TVersity
others work as well. And of couse you can just copy files on to PS3
HDD.
The only bad thing about PS3 is Cinavia.
