 Hi, Steve

I'm afraid I could be of no great assistance to you, since I'm just a
medium-level Windows user of get_iplayer :-(
But, two points there:

1) Is it any specific reason to your OS that you're still stuck with
FLVStreamer v2.1c1?
Can you find and use instead a binary of rtmpdump v2.3 compiled for Ubuntu
8.04 Hardy?

2) Your version of FFmpeg suggests it comes from git, yet all other info
about it is quite old:

Recent patches of get_iplayer that remux AAC audio (derived from flashaac
radiomodes) into an MP4 (.m4a) container,
require very recent versions of FFmpeg.
The win32 binary that I'm using has this to report:

FFmpeg version git-N-28975-gd459d8e, Copyright (c) 2000-2011 the FFmpeg
developers.
built on Apr 10 2011 00:01:44 with gcc 4.5.2

libavutil 50. 40. 1 / 50. 40. 1
libavcodec 52.117. 0 / 52.117. 0
libavformat 52.106. 0 / 52.106. 0
libavdevice 52. 4. 0 / 52. 4. 0
libavfilter 1. 77. 1 / 1. 77. 1
libswscale 0. 13. 0 / 0. 13. 0
libpostproc 51. 2. 0 / 51. 2. 0

(Please disregard if I'm just talking non-sense there...
And you could have continued the thread you started on Apr 9th...)
