Why would you not use the latest one from the git repository, which is
v0.70?

I get:

[dwmw2 at macbook get_iplayer]$ ./get_iplayer.cgi --port 1935 --listen=127.0.0.1
INFO: Command: /usr/bin/get_iplayer --nopurge --nocopyright --listplugins
INFO: Listening on 127.0.0.1:1935

Which implies that the get_iplayer path is missing from yours. Try
providing it, with a --get_iplayer= argument.
