I would say, they are probably more difficult to get. What do you mean

Depends on you soldering experience. If you have no experience then
start with youtube videos and do probe soldering on some
In any case you will need a good soldering iron. For example ESRA i-CON
NANO with small, about 1mm tip, will be good start.

Usually, for doing what you wont to do, you'll get development board. It
is relatively big board with all possible connector for debugging and
other variants, what ever the chip in question can. Google for it.
Normal, production version will not have all this connectors and variants.
I do not have any such board. An i surtannly will not spend money for
it. It is out of my budge.
