AP mode is supposed to work in a very basic way, right?

I think doing:

* udp iperf
* tcp iperf, one way and then the other
* tcp bi-directional test (ie, iperf runs two tcp connections, one each way)

in both STA and AP mode

that's likely a good starting point.
