I think that's one way to keep omap target as available as possible. 
However, I don't know what OpenWrt's team members will think...

Yes. I've opened (but closed) a PR for adding support of Century 
Systems MA-E350/N (AM3352), but it's probably completely unknown 
outside of Japan. ;)
