I think the code for backwards compatibility would be a lot simpler if
you add both IFACE_ATTR_DEVICE and IFACE_ATTR_IFNAME and initialize
tb[IFACE_ATTR_DEVICE] to tb[IFACE_ATTR_IFNAME] if it's NULL.
