Just to be transparent enough about the topic of private chat,
the usage was only to sync on specific stuff example APK or buildbot
where a quick response was needed and IRC was problematic for
timing response (or connection lost).

I feel a private mailing list usage would be for security stuff (reported
vulnerability and how to proceed with fixing/disclose), bad act from
vendor... As Hauke said, the freescout email are hardly used and they
are really needed for other kind of conversation from external to team,
not team to team.

A private mailing list is also useful to ""fix"" the problem for the periodic
web meeting where we have to select every email to send the invitation
and day proposal. This way we will just send the email to the mailing list
and be done with it.

I added a bullet point so we can discuss this on the web meeting.
Given how delicate the topic is, I think we will have to clearly state what
is the usage of that list to enforce transparency.
