I phrased poorly the opening sentence of that paragraph. What I meant
was: "If the decisions are currently trustworthy, that's great."
(Also: I'm not trying to imply that any current or past OpenWRT
decisionmakers are or were untrustworthy. But who knows what some
future decisionmaker might be like? So I'm just proposing a way to
harmlessly minimise avoidable future risks to the project.)
